Introduction to Social Networking & LL4Schools
This one-day course will start with an overview of social networking covering what it is and general e-safety guidance. Then we will provide an introduction to using the LL4Schools safe social network and the various tools: blogs, wikis, filesharing, RSS and communities. In addition we will show how to use other online tools (Google Docs, for example) within the LL4Schools platform. Cost: £60+VAT per delegate. The price will include tea/coffee, lunch and access to a laptop if required. Delegates can connect their own laptops to the local wireless if they prefer. Notice of cancellation must be received at least 72 hours before the course date or the full fee will be payable. Times: 09:30 for 10:00 start. Finish about 15:30. Please Note: a minimum of 7 delegates are required for the course to run so we reserve the right cancel the course if there are not enough bookings. |

Introduction to LL4Schools
It is possible to run a similar course to the above within a school for pupils, staff or both. Depending upon the time available the course may cover the same material as above or less. The priorities can be discussed when arranging the session. To get the best out of the course users will need access to an internet connected computer. Cost: Registered schools £500 plus VAT & travel. Non-Registered schools £550 plus VAT & travel. |
